Boasting a town centre location set amongst beautiful scenic countryside, the hotel provides a unique oasis the in the centre of the bustling market town of Keswick.
Surrounded by the picturesque lakes and mountains of the Lake District, during your stay you can choose to either stroll around Keswick's small shops and enjoy a drink in one of the local cafès, or explore the wonderful natural surroundings on bike, foot or horse-back.
Whilst staying at The Skiddaw Hotel you are welcome to use the leisure facilities of the sister hotel free of charge. These include an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, a sauna and a jacuzzi. A beauty salon is also available, with a wide range of treatments (additional cost).

Cancellations
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Restaurants and Bars
The hotel's beautiful air conditioned restaurant - '31 The Square' - is open for both lunch and dinner. 2 and 3-course lunches are available, whilst 2, 3 or 4-course table d'hote dinners are available. A children's menu is also available. Bar Meals are served in the non-smoking restaurant, available from 12:00 - 14:30, excluding Sundays.

By Car: - Take the M6 to Penrith. - Exit the motorway at junction 40. - Head west on the A66 to Keswick. - The Skiddaw Hotel is in the Market Square in the town centre, close to the historic Moot Hall. By Train: To Carlisle (23 miles) or Penrith (15 miles), continue by taxi or hire car. By Air: By commercial airline to Newcastle (90 miles), Manchester (120 miles). Continue by hire car or commercial shuttle service.
