This four star award winning hotel, originally known as Charnwood House, dates back to the time of the Doomsday book. Modern demands are met with each bedroom being equipped to the highest standard.
The outstanding cuisine, the delightful surroundings and the tranquility of the gardens leading down to the River Soar are appreciated by many of the guests who return time and again for either business or pleasure. For dinner choose from a menu renowned for both its innovative ideas and traditional values served in either the intimate alcoves of the Shires Restaurant or the light and airy atmosphere of the Orangery Restaurant. Both restaurants continue to win accolades including 3 RAC dining awards and 2 AA rosettes for maintaining a consistent reputation for fine cuisine, complimented by our carefully selected wine list. Executive bedrooms offer the same facilities as a traditional room but with the added extras of a king size bed, direct dial telephones & ISDN lines, larger bedrooms and bathrooms.

From the m1 North, take Junction 23 off the Motorway and follow the a512 into Loughborough. When in Loughborough town, follow signs for the a6 to Leicester. This will bring you out of the town via a small dual carriageway. At the first main roundabout, follow the signs to Quorn (Quorndon) village. Do not follow the a6 Bypass. At the traffic lights, carry straight on. There are several road humps and two mini roundabouts. We are approximately 500 yards on the left, after the second mini roundabout, just after the Village Hall. From the M1 South, leave the motorway at Junction 21a and follow the A46 bypass until you reach the Exit marked A6 Loughborough. Leave the A46 at this exit and follow the A6 (Quorn/Mountsorrel Bypass) towards Loughborough for approximately 2-3 miles until you come to a roundabout sign-posted Quorn and Mountsorrel. At the next roundabout you will see a Budgens Supermarket on the left, take the third exit off this roundabout. The Hotel is situated on the right hand side opposite the Police Station.
