The Swan at Grasmere, situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park, is an excellent base from which to explore the local area. It is an ideal location for walking, sailing, fishing, cycling, shopping, riding and golfing. The great appeal of this hotel is shown by the many guests who return year after year. Log fires burn in the winter in lounge fireplace while in summer the Swan is an ideal base for lovers of the Great Outdoors or for those who prefer a more leisurely break in a stunning setting.

Our restaurant offers an extensive international wine list, to accompany our traditional yet contemporary table d'hôte menu. We offer an evening lounge menu available until 21:00 and a delicious choice of bar meals served daily until midnight.
The Swan sits on northern outskirts of the village of Grasmere, approximately halfway between Windermere and Keswick on the a591. Junction 36 or 40 of the m6 provides access points.
