About Cedar Manor Hotel hotel

This 150 year old former country residence is set in gardens dominated by a giant 200 year old cedar tree, and is 10 minute's walk from Windermere village and lake.

Located adjacent to the A591 next to St Mary's Church, Cedar Manor is a distinctive period property with many fine features. The hotel offers wonderful accommodation and has been awarded 2-star Hotel status by the AA, with a quality score of 80%.

The hotel lounge and bar has comfortable sofas and armchairs for you to relax in, have a drink and enjoy the views of the garden. The Cedar Manor Restaurant has just been awarded a coveted AA Rosette for dining and offers a seasonal à la carte and table d'hôte menus, and is open to hotel guests as well as non-residents.

All children from 5 to 14 years are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged GBP 50.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Important Information

At weekends we offer a minimum stay stay of 2 nights, either Friday and Saturday or, Saturday and Sunday. For all public holiday weekends we offer a minimum stay of 3 nights. Table reservations for night of arrival must be made in advance. Pets are allowed in our Coachouse rooms, Coachman's and Farrier's, and must not be left unattended. The charge is GBP 5 per dog per night. Wireless internet is not yet available in the Coachouse rooms but is available free in the main hotel Not all rooms can accommodate children. Please notify the hotel first before arrival. A child sharing with only one adult will pay the same as an adult.
