Aphrodites Boutique Hotel, Bowness On Windermere

Aphrodites Hotel is a new luxury, themed boutique hotel offering guest accommodation in both classical and themed suites.

Aphrodites is often described as 'the hip hotel' in the Lake District, where it is not just a bed and breakfast, but a special hotel offering organic food, most of which is locally sourced and Fairtrade where possible. There is a strong emphasis on slow food.

The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool and an outside gallery eating and drinking area overlooking the unique dancing fountain with light and music show.

Our new organic restaurant serves breakfast, light meals and snacks throughout the day. A selection of special or filter coffees, teas and herbal teas are also available.

From the M6 motorway North or South: - Leave the M6 at junction 36, travel along the A590 by passing Kendal, turn off the A591 at Windermere (Tourist Information Centre on your left). - Travel down through Windermere village on the one way system to New Road in the direction of Bowness, drive through the village and follow the road left towards Bowness Bay. - Drive past the steamers and jetties following the road until it branches for Kendal, you are now on Longtail Hill, about 2 thirds the way up Ahproditie's is on the left.
