This 3-star hotel has a convenient location less than one mile (1.6 km) from junction 1 of the M18 motorway.
The hotel's close proximity to the M1, the M18 and the A1 means it offers excellent access to the region's major road network. The good location makes this privately owned, traditional hotel a great base for visiting the major towns of Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield. The hotel is just 15 minutes' drive from Sheffield Arena, which regularly plays host to top bands and exhibitions.
There are 29 comfortable and well-appointed en suite rooms. The restaurant is well known in the area for serving plenty of British produce. Free parking is available for guests and there are also 2 conference rooms which can hold up to 50 delegates.

Family rooms have one double bed and are equipped to accommodate another 2 single beds.
The hotel's lounge bar and the air conditioned restaurant have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. There is also a decking area for those lazy summer evenings. The restaurant offers traditional Yorkshire breakfasts, as well as lunches and dinners every day. The menus represent modern cuisine, as well as including traditional English dishes. All the menus are personally created by the head chef. The extensive wine list offers a selection of wines from around the world to complement your meal.
By Car (from the M18 motorway): The hotel is situated just off junction 1 of the M18 motorway. - Upon exiting the M18 at junction 1, take the first left and follow the signs for Rotherham on the A631 Bawtry Road. - The A631 is a dual carriageway and Morrisons supermarket is visible on the left. - Continue straight on the A631 in the right-hand lane through the sets of traffic lights. - You then approach a set of traffic lights at a right-hand turn. - On the left, there is a brown directional sign saying Elton Hotel. Turn right at these traffic lights and follow the road down (Church Lane). - Turn left and you will then approach a mini roundabout. Go straight ahead at the mini roundabout and the entrance to the hotel is immediately on the left.
