A former coaching inn, this charming property, dating back over 300 years, occupies a beautiful position in the centre of Newcastle Emlyn, a busy market town at the border of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.
Newcastle Emlyn is in the Teify Valley, West Wales, which is very popular for Salmon and Sewin (migratory trout) fishing, and is in a very central location, providing easy access both to the coast and to the gentle hills, valleys and rivers that are a feature of the region.
Carefully modernised, The Emlyn Arms Hotel now has 16 en suite bedrooms, a 50-seat restaurant and 'Neuadd Nest', a traditional Welsh-styled function suite that is licensed for 400, with a seating capacity for 200.

The restaurant at the Emlyn Arms Hotel does not only cater for hotel guests but also welcomes non-resident visitors. It tries to cater for different tastes on both the bar meals and à la carte menu. Where possible, meals are prepared from carefully selected local produce, including some seasonal specialities. On Sundays there is a carvery for traditional Sunday Lunch. A selection of fine wines and a range of beers, including welsh beers, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available.
