This charming 400 year old coaching inn is situated just 5 miles from the famous golfing town of St. Andrews. We pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome and the great food and ales we serve. Enjoy all this in cosy surroundings with open log fires and lots of things to do both within the inn and surrounding area.
The restaurant has an award winning chef who uses only the finest of local produce.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All our rooms are equipped with the modern traveller in mind. In addition to the facilities mentioned in the list, the rooms have top quality beds, satellite channels and mirrors all with well positioned power sockets.

Follow the m6 north onto the a74 then m74 at Junction 13. Follow signs to a702 Edinburgh. At the end of the a702 you will come to the a720 ring road around Edinburgh. Go west towards the airport, following the signs to the Forth Road Bridge and cross it. 80P is charged to cross the toll. Follow the m90, this is the road you crossed the bridge on to Junction 2a (signed a92 Kirkcaldy). Follow this road until you come to a roundabout in the road. Straight ahead is signed St Andrews but take a right turn (3rd exit). Follow this road to the next roundabout and take the a915 towards Leven. Keep on the a915 until you get into Upper Largo, having passed through Lundin Links and a you are passing through upper Largo. You will see a turning to the left with a small sign saying Largoward and St Andrews. Take this road, it is still the a915 (don't stay on the main road as this is the coast road to St Andrews). Pass through Largoward and you will see the Inn on the right, approximately 1 mile closer to St Andrews. Directions from Cupar: Follow the High Street through Cupar and as you come past the park on your right, you will see a sign Peat Inn to the right. Follow this road until you get to Peat Inn and at the restaurant of the same name turn left. Follow this road to the end and turn right. The Inn is a mile down the road on the left.
