The farmhouse boasts beautiful original features and historic charm, with inglenook fireplaces, original wooden beams and a traditional farmhouse-style kitchen with an Aga stove.

For extra peace and privacy, guests can stay in the farm's garden lodge, situated by the lake, with up-to-date decor and a 'shabby chic' style.

Our romantic king-size room has its own dressing room, en suite toilet/basin and a separate shower on the floor below. It has beautiful views over the lake and a shabby-chic décor. Our double room in Victorian style features an en suite shower. Our roomy twin room with brass beds has en suite bath with a shower next door. Our new garden lodge is in a dream setting by the lake. It is semi self catering with a lounge and kitchen area, king-size bed and en suite shower. Your only neighbours are the ducks and nature. Please note: there is a 4-night minimum stay in the garden lodge weekdays and 2 nights at weekends.
The room features Victorian brass twin beds, en suite with bath, separate shower next door, colour TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, dressing gowns, cosy central heating, immaculate furnishings and sherry for that pre-dinner sip. The room benefits from a view over the lakes, garden and the 300 acre pasture fields with grazing animals.
Relax in this cosy, Victoriana room with wrought iron bed and oak beams. The room is decorated to a very high standard with an en suite shower. Enjoy a sherry for that pre-dinner sip, hairdryer, dressing gowns, TV, and a lovely view over the garden and rockery waterfall, beautiful in the spring and summer and cosy in the winter. This is a smaller room.
This is a charming, romantic room with a king-size bed and en suite toilet/ basin and its own dressing room. A separate shower is available on the floor below. Dressing gowns are provided. The room benefits from magnificent views over the lakes with a host of wildlife and pasture fields with sheep and horses peacefully grazing.
Enjoy lovely views over the lake and pastures from the veranda, where you can view red kites and have ducks as your neighbours. The Garden Lodge has a lounge, a kitchen area, a king-size bed and an en suite shower. It is very tastefully decorated in a ‘shabby chic’ style. The lodge is on the ground floor only but there are 3 steps leading onto the veranda. A 4-night minimum stay applies on weekdays and a 2-night minimum stay applies at weekends. Stays are on a self-catering breakfast basis.
Enjoy the smell of freshly baked bread in the morning, and relish a traditional farmhouse breakfast or vegetarian alternative, cooked by Jim. For lunch or an evening meal, The Cherry Tree in the village is within walking distance, and serves excellent fresh food cooked by their French chef. If booking the garden lodge, there is a hob, microwave, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area for your breakfast requirements. Tables are also on the veranda for breakfast or evening wine in the sun.
From Oxford or London junction 6 M40/A40, take the B4009 towards Princes Risborough for 2 miles. Take the first left in Kingston Blount, and drive 300yds past village green. Turn right into Brook Street then immediately left down a drive to the end and through the automatic secure wooden gates. From Thame take the B4445 South to Chinnor. Once in Chinnor turn right at the mini roundabout onto the B4009. It is then 1.5 miles to Kingston Blount. Take the last right, and drive for 300 yards, past the village green. Turn right into Brook Street, then immediately left down a drive to the end and through the automatic secure gates.
