Nearby are many of Reading's major business parks - Thames Valley Park and Green Park. As of 12th August 2006 all public areas of the Millennium Madejski will be non-smoking. Smoking will only be permitted in the designated smoking bedrooms.

Le Cafe, a brasserie-style restaurant, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cilantro, the hotel's fine-dining restaurant, has 1 AA Rosette and is open from Monday to Saturday (evening).
