Located in the 9th district, this hotel is one Metro station away from the historic city centre of Lyon, and is easily reached via several modes of transport.
The hotel was fully renovated in 2007 and offers a friendly atmosphere and warm, welcoming staff. The rooms are all en suite and equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV (10 foreign channels) and fully equipped bathrooms. All the rooms are located in a quiet area or on the hotel's courtyard.
The restaurant is open every day and serves fine, traditional French cuisine with famous Lyon flavours. The Best Western Saphir Lyon has 5 large meeting rooms for up to 200 people (for cocktails), and 6 small boardrooms.

From Lyon Airport: Take the highway a432 in the direction of Lyon. Then take the a43 in the direction of Lyon. Exit on the right direction of Villeurbanne n383. Then follow Peripherique Nord. Exit Porte de Vaise. Follow Lyon Centre in rue de Bourgogne until Place Valmy (big round about). Take the direction of Gorges de Loup Metro station. After 4th traffic lights, turn right (bp gas Station), hotel is 50 meters on the right. From the A6 Motorway coming from the North: Take exit Porte du Valvert. At the Round about take the direction of Lyon Centre, Vaise in rue Marietton until Place Valmy (big round about). Take the direction of Gorges de Loup Metro station. At the 4th traffic light, turn right (BP gas Station), hotel is 50 meters on the right. From the A6 Motorway coming from the South: Exit Vaise - St Just right after the Tunnel sous Fourviere. Take the first right, 1st traffic light on the left and the 2nd traffic light on the left. From the City Centre (Bellecourt Square): Take Quai du Rhone in a South direction, then take motorway A6 in the direction of Paris. Go through the Tunnel de Fourviere in the direction of Paris. Exit Vaise – St Just right after the Tunnel sous Fourviere. Take the first right, 1st traffic light on the left, 2nd traffic light on the left.
