The Raven Hotel, Hook, Nr Basingstoke

The Raven is next to Hook Train Station (40 minutes to Waterloo) and 0.5 miles from the M3. The hotel has a friendly, traditional bar and restaurant, and en suite rooms.

The restaurant has a great menu and a specials board. You can watch pizzas being made and cooked in the stone-baked pizza oven.

Each bedroom has Sky TV, tea/coffee facilities and a CD/radio. Previous guests include Edward VIII and Mrs Simpson, and Enid Blyton, who was writing her first book.

Within 30 minutes' drive are: Windsor Castle, The New Forest, Bird World, Ascot, Windsor and Newbury racecourses, Reading FC, Stonehenge, Thorpe Park, Legoland and Farnborough Air Show.
