The hotel is situated in the heart of Winchester city centre; it runs alongside the famous Winchester Cathedral and is within walking distance of shops.
The 4-star Mercure Wessex Winchester hotel has 94 bedrooms, all en suite with a private bath and shower. Walkers restaurant specialises in traditional cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Kings lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere and serves light meals and snacks as well as traditional cream teas and cocktails.

By Car: From Southampton: - Take the M3. - Exit at junction 10 in the direction of Winchester City Centre. - At the roundabout take the second exit, following signs to the Cathedral and Tourism Information - At the traffic lights, turn right. - Follow the main road and at the first small roundabout go straight on. - At the traffic lights continue straight. - At the roundabout take the first exit on the left and cross the small bridge. - On the last roundabout go straight on and then take the first street on the left; you will see the Mercure Hotel on the right-hand side.
