About Arnold's Hotel hotel

The family-run Arnold's Hotel is at the base of Horn Head in dramatic North Donegal. It is noted for its warm welcome, good food and friendly Irish atmosphere.

Arnold's is nestled in the village of Dunfanaghy and is an ideal base for exploring the scenic mountains, deep glens and towering sea cliffs of north-west Donegal. Ards Forest Park is close by.

The hotel has on-site horse-riding stables, and can provide reduced angling permits, a free walking booklet, and reduced green fees for a local golf course.

The area is home to Muckish Mountain and 3 local brown-trout fishing lakes: Purt, Sessiagh and New Lake. Unwind and enjoy the peace of the scenic landscape of Sheephaven Bay.

By Plane: Donegal International Airport is just a short 35 minute drive from Dunfanaghy on the N56. The City of Derry Airport is 60 minutes from Dunfanaghy approximately. British Airways and Ryanair operate scheduled flights daily. By Public Transport: Direct coach services to Dunfanaghy are available from Belfast, Dublin, Galway, Sligo and Glasgow.
