In a quiet street, close to the centre of Reykjavik, these self-catering apartments offer the freedom and independence to explore and enjoy this wonderful city.
Although the apartments are situated in a peaceful street in a quiet area, they are just a short walk from the heart of Reykjavik and all that it has to offer. The city's shops and museums are all within easy walking distance, as are the bars and the nightlife for which Reykjavik is rightly famous.
In addition to their excellent location, the apartments also offer convenience and autonomy. All apartments have a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and microwave, a comfortable seating/living area with satellite TV and a bathroom with shower. The apartments are cleaned daily and provided with fresh towels.

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

There is a master bedroom with a king size double bed (which can be used as a twin bed) a second bedroom, with a twin bed, and in the living room there is a double sleeping sofa, making it a comfortable suite for 6. The kitchen has a breakfast table and all standard appliances. The Dining room has a dining table for 8 or more and there is a sitting room with TV and stereo and complimentary high speed Internet. There is a DVD/CD player, a 42" LCD TV with Icelandic channels which show mostly English language movies and series, and satellite channels, including the BBC, CNN and Sky News channels. The garden has a sizeable porch with outdoor furniture.

The hotel does not have a restaurant. However there are several different restaurants close by. All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and the staff will be happy to do some shopping for you before your arrival.
Castle House Apartments (apts. 10 - 64) are located at Skalholtsstigur 2a and the Embassy Apartment. ( apts 70 - 100) are at Gardastraeti 40. Both locations are within 5 minute walk from the city centre. The international airport is in Keflavik - 40 kilometers away. Take the Flybus to Reykjavik terminal (bsi) then a taxi to the Apartments (5 min.) 24 hours reception
