The Classic Hotel is a small, quality, family run, bed and breakfast hotel in central London. For business or pleasure, the Classic Hotel is the ideal base to do business or explore London.
The hotel is located in the city of Westminster, situated in the famous tree lined Sussex Gardens, close to excellent transport links for the business, shopping and leisure traveller. The hotel is excellently positioned in Zone 1, within easy reach of underground stations, Hyde Park, the West End, Theatreland, restaurants, central London shopping (Oxford Street) and banks.
The Hotel is a 5 minute walk from Paddington main line and underground stations, and 15 minutes journey time from Heathrow International Airport via the Heathrow Express. The hotel offers elegantly decorated bedrooms providing a warm and relaxing atmosphere; the perfect base in central London for the business or leisure traveller. 2 car parking spaces are available on request, just outside the London congestion charge zone at an extra daily charge. 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
All children are welcome. One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding. All further children under 4 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Please indicate your arrival time in your reservation or kindly contact the hotel after the reservation has been confirmed to advise arrival time. The Classic Hotel will charge the amount equivalent to the 1st night as a deposit. Classic Hotel will charge 5% extra on all credit card payments. The card holder must bring the credit/debit card they have booked with for verification. Otherwise, payment in full will be required. All payments are required on arrival.

Underground Paddington District, Circle, Bakerloo and Hammersmith & City lines. From Paddington Station take the Praed Street exit, walk towards Burger King and take a right on London Street. Walk down London Street and take a left on Sussex Gardens. The hotel is located on the left hand side of the street, and is number 92. (5 mins approx) Lancaster Gate Central line. On exit of the underground station, turn left and walk around The Lancaster Hotel, on Westbourne Street. Cross on the traffic lights and walk onto Sussex Gardens. The hotel is located on the left hand side of the street, and is number 92. (7 mins approx). PADDINGTON MAIN LINE From Paddington Station take the Praed Street exit, walk towards Burger King and take a right on London Street. Walk down London Street and take a left on Sussex Gardens. The hotel is located on the left hand side of the street, and is number 92. (5 mins approx) HEATHROW AIRPORT By Heathrow Express to Paddington Main Line Station - Take the Heathrow Express from the airport (ask directions at the airport). You will arrive at Paddington main line station in 15 minutes. Please see the above instructions. By Underground - Take the Piccadilly line to Earls Court. Change to the District Line Eastbound Platforms (Platforms 1 & 2) and take the EDGWARE ROAD bound train for Paddington Underground Station. (journey time approx 1 hr) BY CAR M40 junction 1, take the first right on to OLD MARYLEBONE ROAD, cross the traffic lights at the end of the street and you are on Sussex Gardens. The Hotel is located on the right hand side.
