The rear apartments look out towards Princes Street, the Walter Scott Monument, the Georgian New Town. On a clear day you will clearly see the Firth of Forth. On Foot From Waverley Train Station : - Take the Market Street exit and when you come out onto Market Street, turn right. - Cross the pedestrian crossing and you will see an entrance to Fleshmarket Close. - Go up the stairs, then at the top you will see on your left the Southern Cross Cafe with a blue awning. - You will check-in next to this, at 65 Cockburn Street. - Check-in and then a receptionist will assist you to Royal Mile Apartments, which are at the top of Cockburn Street. By Taxi From the airport: The airport is 8 miles (12.9 km) from the Royal Mile Residence. A taxi should take approximately 20 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. By Bus From the airport: Take the Airport Express bus. This departs approximately every 10 minutes during peak times. Stay on the bus until it terminates on Waverley Bridge in the centre of Edinburgh. When you get off the bus, turn left and head across the road and up Cockburn Street. Check-in is located at 65 Cockburn Street, next to the Southern Cross Café.
