Historically, Oakley Court is believed to have been used as the English Headquarters of the French Resistance during World War II.
More recently it was the setting for many famous films including St. Trinian's, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and many Hammer House of Horror productions, including Dracula.

The Oakleaf Restaurant holds an AA Rosette award and offers fine dining with a modern European flavour, particularly French influences. All dishes are prepared using the finest local ingredients, where possible. A dress code applies and booking is recommended. The sitting room, the drawing room and the library are the perfect rooms to take some time for yourself. Each retains own historic features like ornamental ceilings, wood-panelled floors and sash windows. A lounge menu and afternoon tea can be taken in any of these rooms. The Oakleaf Bar offers the perfect opportunity to meet up with your colleagues and to enjoy a nice glass of wine or beer.
Oakley Court is set back from the A308 between Windsor and Maidenhead. London/Heathrow to Oakley Court: Exit Junction 6 of the M4. Follow the dual carriageway towards Windsor. Turn left as if going to Windsor, but at the roundabout below the dual carriageway, turn right onto the A308 towards Maidenhead. Keep going past Windsor Racecourse and the hotel is approximately 2 miles on the right hand side of the road. Reading to Oakley Court: Exit Junction 8/9 of the M4. Follow the signs for Maidenhead Central (A308M). At the roundabout, follow the signs for the A308 Windsor. The hotel is approximately 2 miles on the left hand side of the road. M40 to Oakley Court: Exit Junction 4 of the M40 and take the A404 towards Maidenhead. Keep going until you reach the M4 Junction 8/9 roundabout. Then follow 'Reading to Oakley Court' directions.
