Since the beginning of the 20th century the Bacigalupo family have been combining their renowned cooking with hospitality, always aiming to improve the hotel's facilities and services.
Hotel Monte Rosa is situated in the beautiful historical centre of Chiavari with its ancient arcades, just a few minutes walking distance from the long, sunny promenade.

Hotel Monte Rosa has 61 bedrooms and 3 suites/family rooms, all recently refurbished with modern, comfortable furniture.
This is a modern suite with a double room and a separate single room where an extra bed can be added. The suite has an en suite bathroom with bathtub.
Rooms were renovated in 2002.
Since the beginning of the 20th century Ristorante Monte Rosa has been well known throughout the region. The chef combines the flavours and scents of the region with traditional Mediterranean recipes.
By train: Alight at "Chiavari". Walk along the Via Martiri della Liberazione until you come to the pedestrian street 'Caruggio Dritto'. Turn left into this street and walk along the right-hand side of the arcades until you come to the newspaper store. Then turn right and you will see the hotel. Walking distance: around 10 minutes. By car: - Take the A12 motorway and exit for "Chiavari". - Follow the signs for the centre and at the first crossroads turn left, following the signs towards the Hotel Monte Rosa. From the airport: Genoa Airport is the nearest airport from/to Chiavari (45 km away). Transfers by taxi can be arranged by hotel staff. From the airport it is also possible to reach Genoa's train station by shuttle bus or by taxi.
