Built in 1888 as the family home of the Sheriff of Denbigh, this fascinating courtyard house nestles in the wooded slopes of the Berwyns on the edge of Corwen between Betws-y-Coed, Llangollen, and Bala. After years of careful renovation, Bron-y-Graig opened in 1999 to offer bed and breakfast, a licensed a la carte restaurant for Dinner service and now a luxury holiday cottage, with special facilities for groups and business guests. The 19th century splendour of our William Morris decor is complemented by 21st century services and 100% attention to our guests' comfort. Many visitors return year after year to enjoy our old house's relaxing welcome or to sample exciting outdoor activities with our expert associates. Bron y Graig is ideally located for exploring the whole of North Wales.

This single room offers a courtyard view. In addition to the facilities already listed (see below), this room also includes a selection of books. A free upgrade to a larger room may be possible, depending on availability.
The family rooms are intended for 2 adults and 2 children aged under 15. Each room has a king-size bed, single bed and air bed.
Please specify if you require a twin-bedded room. Most of our rooms have great river valley and hill views. Car parking is included.
Our small Restaurant and Drawing Room overlooking the Dee are the perfect setting for informal wining and dining. Relax in the drawing room with a drink before going into the restaurant for dinner. Guests staying in our bed & breakfast accommodation, or in the holiday cottage can eat in the restaurant. The restaurant is also available for private functions. Please note: your table reservation must be made in advance - please use the comments/requests box to reserve a dinner table.
From the north and north west: m6 South to m56. M56 signed to North Wales and Chester. M53 signed to Wrexham and North Wales. This becomes a55. From this point your journey will take about 40 minutes. Go past exit for Broughton. At next exit, come off a55, turn left and take a5104 signed Corwen. Straight over next roundabout by es Jones Garage, straight over next roundabout (church on left), right at next roundabout, signed a5104 Corwen. From this point it is about 20 miles to Corwen. Follow a5104 through Pontybodkin, Treuddyn, Llandegla. Keep on the a5104 until you go over a hump-backed bridge. Turn left at big green warehouse - signed Corwen. After one mile, turn right - signed Corwen. Follow road into Town Square and turn left at T-junction onto a5 - signed Llangollen. Travel approx 0.5 mile. When terraced houses on right give out, you will see our black and gold sign on the left hand side. Take first right up steep drive to Bron-y-Graig. From the south and midlands: m1, m5, m6 to m54, m54 becomes the a5, follow a5 signed Shrewsbury, then Oswestry and then LLangollen. Keep on the a5, pass through LLangollen on the a5 signed Bala. You are now 10 miles from Corwen. Follow the a5 to Corwen, go into the Town for about 250 yards and turn right into a car park opposite Big White Building called Corwen Manor. Turn round in the car park, turn left back on to the a5. After 200 yds you will see our sign on the left. Take the first Right up steep drive to bron-y-graig. Do not try to turn left into Bron-y-Graig from a5, it can't be done!
