There is full central heating in all rooms. A pay phone is available, and the premises are covered by a full fire certificate. We have no petty restrictions; you are free to come and go as you wish. The enjoyment of good food is an important part of any holiday, and Ashleigh House Hotel is noted for giving you separate tables. We offer good home cooking with a varied choice of menu. Our meal times are planned to allow you to make the most of your free time. Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.00 am, and evening meal is served at 6.00 pm. You may enjoy a drink in the friendly atmosphere of the comfortable bar lounge where coffee is always available for guests not wishing to take advantage of the the well-stocked bar and extensive wine list.

If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

From Portsmouth take the directions for Sandown and then travel up Sandown Road until you come across a set of traffic lights. You will see a sports and leisure complex called the heights. Continue straight on until you come to the next set of traffic lights. Stay on the left hand side and head straight up the hill. One hundred yards up the hill you will see Lake Working Men's Club located on your right. We are two doors up from that on the same side. If you are travelling from East Cowes stay on the road until you reach a large roundabout (approx three miles). Turn left at the roundabout and first right. Continue straight on over the first two mini roundabouts passing the Hare and Hounds public house on your left. Continue down the hill to a T-junction and turn left. Continue on that road and you will eventually come to a large roundabout with Safeways on your left hand side. Drive straight over and up the hill passing the speed cameras until you come to a large T- junction. Stay on your right and turn right up the hill where you will see Lake Working Means club on your right and we are two doors up on the same side. Rail From Ryde Pier Head travel to Lake Station. Upon leaving the Station walk through the tunnel and fifty yards up to the main road. Turn left and you will see Lake Working Men's Club on your right. We are two doors up on the same side.
