With excellent breakfasts and friendly hosts, the charming, Victorian Ashbourne House is in a pleasant area of York, and a 20- minute riverside stroll from the city centre.
Ashbourne House is convenient for York Racecourse, York University and Fulford International Golf Club. There is a frequent bus service to the city centre.
Owners Paul and Julie provide homely, clean and cosy en suite rooms. The guest house has a Silver Award from the English Tourism Council.
The 'Deliciously Yorkshire' breakfasts feature local ingredients, including outdoor-reared pork sausages, local bacon and free-range Yorkshire eggs, and fresh croissants.
