The view alone is worth a visit to Tara Towers. As it is situated along the line of the DART train and a busy bus route, the city is never more than 30 minutes away.

To the south are the suburbs of Blackrock (1.6 km), Dun Laoghaire (4.8 km) and Dalkey (8 km), where you can find shops, entertainment, great restaurants and relaxing beach walks.

Ocras Restaurant, frequented by Dubliners, guests and tourists alike, is distinctive and newly designed. The restaurant just recently opened its doors with a modern yet relaxed decor and a delicious choice of menus. The menu offers contemporary Irish and international dishes with an emphasis on simple food, cooked to perfection and presented with relish. Numerous options are available at the lunchtime carvery, as well as lighter option of freshly prepared sandwiches and salads. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. There is a much valued Early Bird menu and a mouth-watering a la carte menu, as well as a tasty hot breakfast, leisurely lunch and appetising evening meals.
