Sugarloaf Restaurant creates the perfect atmosphere, with magnificent views of Bantry, serving only local produce and fresh fish caught daily by local fisherman from Bantry Bay. The restaurant is committed to the Feile Bia Charter and uses products from recognised Quality Assurance Schemes as indicated on their menus. The hotel is pleased to be part of the Fuchsia Brand Initiative, which is long associated with West Cork and was chosen as a symbol of origin and quality. The restaurant does not serve any food that has been genetically engineered. Carbery Lounge serves seafood, steaks, sandwiches and light snacks. During the summer months, you can enjoy nightly entertainment in the hotel Lobby. Tradional Irish music and dancing features each Sunday night in the bar. The bar is available for events, please enquire at the hotel.
By Car: - From Cork, follow signs for Kinsale (N27) at Kinsale Road Roundabout. - Follow signs for Killarney/WestCork (N25) at Sarsfield Road Roundabout. - Take the 2nd exit (N25) at Bandon Road Roundabout and take the 1st exit (N71) straight through to the next small roundabout. - Follow the N71 to Bandon, passing through Innishannon. - At Bandon, turn right at the T-junction, following signs for Bantry/Dunmanway R586, passing through Enniskean/Ballineen and Dunmanway. - Follow signs for Bantry, continuing on the R586. - Passing through Drimoleague at junction N71, turn right and follow the road to Bantry. - From Killarney, follow signs for Kenmare, N71. - At Moll's Gap, turn left (signposted Kenmare) and follow signs for Glengarriff N71. - Follow signs to Bantry (N71) at Ballylickey Bridge. - Turn right and proceed straight through to Bantry. - From Macroom (N22), you will see signs for Bantry. - Turn right (R584), at Toon Bridge, bear left, cross the river bridge and bear right through Inchigeelah, Ballingeary and Keimaneigh. - At Ballylickey Bridge, turn left onto the N71, straight through to Bantry.
