In the centre of South Molton, this charming 17th century, Grade II listed, AA 2-star rated hotel boasts a rich history, a friendly atmosphere, excellent food and cosy log fires.
The George Hotel is located near Barnstaple and Tiverton, on the edge of Exmoor. Family run, it has 9 comfortable en suite bedrooms, the Exmoor bar, a residents' lounge, function rooms and a full à la carte restaurant and private dining room. The entrance hall, restaurant and bar were beautifully refurbished in July 2007 and the function room in July 2008.

By Car: - South Molton is easily accessible from junction 27 of the M5. - Take the A361 north Devon link road towards Barnstaple and you will find South Molton signposted after 30 minutes driving. Car Parking: - The car park is located immediately behind the hotel and is accessed by turning left down South Street and then left again into Southley Road. - Turn left again, signposted for the George Hotel car park.
