This Georgian manor house looks out over York Racecourse. It has beautiful original features, an indoor pool, an excellent restaurant and modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi and parking.
The Knavesmire Manor Hotel is less than 2 miles (3.2 km) from York Minster and the historic city centre. There are regular buses.
The house was built in 1833. There are traditional-style rooms in the main building and bright, modern motel-style rooms outside, with direct access to the car park and gardens.
There is a large conservatory in the gardens with an indoor heated pool and spa bath.
There is also a bar, a drawing room and Restaurant 302. The restaurant serves English and continental food, made with fresh, local ingredients.
