Hotel Gleneagles overlooks the picturesque and tranquil beauty of Anstey's Cove and Redgate Beach. You can enjoy panoramic sea views across the bay towards Seaton, Sidmouth, Exmouth and Lyme Regis or enjoy the coastal walks which run in every direction from the grounds of the hotel.
Although enjoying one of the most peaceful hotel locations in Torquay, a 15-minute stroll will take you to the heart of Torquay town centre, with the marina, harbour and main beaches hugging the coastline and leading to the main shopping area. With all the major tourist attractions within easy reach, The Gleneagles Hotel has become a popular hotel, offering the comfort and atmosphere which only a privately owned and run hotel can create.

All 41 bedrooms have the benefit of en suite facilities, sun balconies, tea and coffee tray, colour television and direct dial telephone. All are furnished to a high standard. We have 2 grades of room either inland or sea view, but all rooms have private balconies or patios and enjoy similar facilities throughout to enhance your enjoyment. Each room has individually controllable heating and there are facilities on each floor for ironing. There are 5 ground floor rooms with walk-in showers. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
Inland facing room that enjoys some sun during the day; a popular place to relax. Some rooms have shower only and some rooms have bath and shower. Overlooking Asheldon Road, this is not a busy road and causes little concern to guests.

Standard sized rooms, with either a walk-in shower or a bath with an overhead shower. Overlooking the front of the hotel and Asheldon Road, this is not a busy road and no significant disturbance is created by it.
Good sized single room, with either a walk-in shower or a bath with an overhead shower. Overlooking Ashledon Road to the front of the hotel, this is not a busy road and causes no concern to the majority. Single rooms with sea views are an option that could be an alternative for anyone concerned with the noise.
On entering the outskirts of Torquay follow signs for Sea Front, at this point follow signs for Babbacombe (or brown Tourist sign - Kents Cavern), follow the the seafront keeping the sea on your right, at the clock tower turn left and follow the road all the way up the hill, just past St Mathias Church turn right into Asheldon Road we are just around the bend on the left hand side.
