About The Queens Arms hotel

Nestled amidst stunning countryside, this late 18th century British pub is beautifully set in the heart of the ancient village of Corton Denham, on the Somerset/Dorset border.

Three miles from the historic town of Sherborne, the ancient capital of Dorset, during your stay you can visit the town's castles, Abbey and boutique shops. Also in the area is Dorset's Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage site, which is just 45 minutes across the rolling Dorset Downs.

A pub with rooms, the Queen's Arms prides itself on good food and drink in a traditional setting with real comfort. Enjoy a pint of ale and a pork pie by the open fire, tuck into a delicious meal in the dining room or simply rest for a night or 2 in one of the stylish rooms.

Restaurants and Bars

Drink is taken seriously here. Choose from an exciting range of tapped and bottled beers from all over the world. These include a number of locally brewed ales and Somerset ciders. The imaginative wine and whisky list is also well chosen and reasonably priced. Food at the Queens Arms is simple, approachable and flavoursome. Earthy British dishes are prepared using the freshest local and seasonal produce. Eat in the bar or book a table in the bustling dining room which adjoins. There is also a private dining room for small group meetings and parties. Children are also indulged with an innovative kids menu offering fun and freshly made food, as well as a great range of soft drinks and smoothies. Breakfast is a must at the Queens Arms; enjoy freshly baked breads and home-made preserves, as well as local Maran eggs and Gloucester Black Spot bacon
