By Car (from the York outer ring road): - From the ring road, approach the city centre on the A19 from the northwest. - On reaching the city centre, the Churchill Hotel is on the left-hand side, approximately 200 metres after passing the ornate St Peter's School on the right. By Train: York train station is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the hotel. You can enjoy the pleasant walk over the river and by the city walls.
