Over 400 years old, this listed barn had been carefully restored and sensitively renovated to offer modern facilities while still retaining its original charm and beautiful period features.

Set with in 32 acres of picturesque countryside, this family-run hotel offers a perfect venue for wedding receptions and other functions. Take a break from a business seminar or team building exercise with lake and river fishing. The beautiful tranquil setting and comfortable accommodation make the barn a great choice for a relaxing break or as a peaceful venue for a business event.

Dark Barn Lodge offers state-of-the-art conference facilities and can cater for up to 100 people. There are extensive leisure facilities, a snack bar and lounge. Evening meals are available if pre-booked.

There is ample, private flood-lit parking available for guests' use, free of charge.

Cancellations

If cancelled or modified up to 3 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 25.00 will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Information: Your deposit receipt will be forwarded to you within 4 working days from the date of booking. Payment Information: Payments under GBP 250 made by credit card will be charged GBP 1 per transaction. Payments over GBP 250 will be charged 1.5% of the total cost. No charge applies to debit cards. American Express cards are not accepted. Please note: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day there will be no meal service. Bookings made after 72 hours prior to check-in will be charged in full at the time of booking. Your breakfast details and an estimated time of arrival are required at the time of booking. These can be added in the special requests box.

Room information

Each en suite bedroom offers a selection of convenient facilities. There is internet access in some of the rooms. One cottage is completely self-contained and can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably, with the use of the double sofa bed. There is a TV in the lounge area and full kitchen facilities. A bridal suite is also available. Towels are supplied in your room, however, please note that these are not for use by the pool. You can, however, loan extra towels for use in the pool area at an additional cost. Alternatively, you can bring your own towel for pool usage.

Bluebell Cottage more info

The Bluebell Cottage is a self-contained unit, with 2 double bedrooms. One bedroom has an en suite shower and the other has an en suite bath. There is a large open-plan lounge/dining room with a small kitchen and a sofa bed which can be used to accommodate extra guests, meaning that the cottage has a maximum occupancy of up to 6 guests. Both bedrooms have their own tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The cottage’s doors open up onto a courtyard, opposite the gymnasium.
