Built by the Great Central Railway in 1899, this restored Victorian town house hotel offers modern comforts whilst retaining the charm of a bygone age.
With many period features, elegant hotel rooms echoe moods of times past. The Great Central Railway, situated by the hotel, was one of the major rail networks connecting London with Scotland, used by famous steam trains like the Flying Scotsman.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of England, within easy reach of the M1 and M42 motorways. This allows easy access to Derby, Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham. The hotel is a short walk from Loughborough University and Whatton Gardens. Other local attractions include Alton Towers and Drayton Manor theme parks.

By car from the M1 motorway: Coming from the north: - Exit onto the A6 and continue for Loughborough. - Continue onto Leicester Road and turn left onto King Street. - Take the 1st right onto Great Central Road, where you will find the hotel. Coming from the south: - Exit onto the A512 for Loughborough and continue till the end of the road. - Turn right onto Swan Street and continue onto Leicester Road. - Continue as above. Parking: There is free parking at the rear of the hotel.
