We are a beautiful Victorian, family-run guest-house in South Oxford, located just half a mile from the city centre and a 10 minute walk from many of Oxford's historic buildings.
Conveniently located for the A40, M40 and A34, we have a 3-star classification by Visit Britain and AA. We also have well-maintained facilities and many original features.
The guest house has been recently refurbished to a high quality standard and the majority of rooms are en suite. Overlooking the Queens College sports grounds and boat houses, we are a stone's throw from the River Thames towpath.

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

100 percent of the first night will be charged at least 2 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.
All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 3 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Payment Information: Sportsview will add a small additional cost to all payments made by credit card. American Express cards are not accepted. Payment due on arrival if using a Switch or Maestro card. Check-in: On Saturdays, you cannot check-in after 18:00.
The rooms are equipped with all common facilities. Please note that this is a non-smoking establishment.
By Car from the North: - Exit the M40 at junction 9, taking the A34 south for Oxford. - Leave at the 6th exit signposted Hinksey Hill Interchange. - At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and at the next roundabout the 1st exit, signposted city centre, onto Abingdon Road. - The guest-house can be found approximately one mile on the left. From the South: - Exit the M4 at junction 13, taking the A34 north for Oxford. - Leave at exit signposted Hinksey Hill Interchange for ring road/city centre (the M40, A423, A4144 and 144), heading for the city centre. - At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit, still heading for the city centre, onto Abingdon Road. - The guest-house can be found approximately one mile on the left. From London: - Exit the M40 at junction 8 onto the A40 and continue for approximately 8 miles. - At the Green Road roundabout take the 1st left onto the ring road for Cowley (A4l42). - At Sainsbury's roundabout, head straight over (A423). - At the next roundabout, turn right for Oxford city centre onto Abingdon Road. The guest-house is approximately one mile on the left. By Train: - Exit at Oxford city centre station and take a taxi or alternatively the local bus X3 to Abingdon and exit at the Edith Road stop. The guest-house is opposite the bus stop. By Coach: - Exit at Gloucester Green bus station and take a taxi or the guest-house is a 15 minute walk.
