The White Swan is now Middlham's finest hotel, in a prominent position overlooking the market square. The hotel has 17 individually furnished en-suite bedrooms and combines a traditional flagstone bar, serving a good range of cask ales and wines by the glass, with a contemporary 60 seat brasserie, serving morning coffee, lunch and dinner daily. Middleham castle overlooks the hotel and the town is famous for its horseracing links and is an ideal base for walkers and visitors to the dale.

All rooms are situated on the 1st and 2nd floors, offering either a contemporary or traditional interior.
These rooms are newly converted in a contemporary style. The bathrooms are tiled throughout. Both rooms overlook the cobbled market place of Middleham, with the castle only a stone's throw away. They are ideal rooms from which to watch the daily routine of the town's horse racing fraternity!
These are quiet and to the rear of the hotel, one with views over the dale and a four-poster bed; the other recently refurbished in a country contemporary style.

By Car: The White Swan Hotel is situated on the A6108 between Leyburn and Masham. The White Swan is approximately 30 minutes from the A1 at Leeming Bar, using the A684. By Train: The nearest railway station is Northallerton which is a 40 minute drive away. There is a limited local transport/taxi service.
