The great New Contemporary Superior Double rooms were converted from an old stable block and are an offspring from the Traditional Inn Rooms, they have been tastefully furnished for the ultimate in style, comfort and relaxation. They feature everything from York stone flooring, which is heated from underneath with sumptuous rugs, to digital LCD flat screen TV with DVD/CD player (DVDs and CDs are freely available from reception), a well stocked mini bar, tea, coffee, homemade biscuits and mineral water. State of the art bathrooms, with deep baths to soak in and a large wet room style shower, also come with bathrobes, luxurious Elemis Spa toiletries, as well as your own face cloth and cotton wool. The restaurant is known for sensational traditional food, cooked simply from the freshest locally sourced ingredients, including meat from 'The Ginger Pig', the rare breed meat farmed just 11 km (7 miles) away. Breakfast is served from 07:45 until 10:00. Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:00. Dinner is served from 18:45 until 21:00 DirectionsPickering in North Yorkshire is approximately 200 miles from London and can be reached via the M1 or A1, then A64 and A169. Travelling to The White Swan Inn by Car From the South A1 or A1/M1 link road to A64 (York) to Malton, first left off roundabout, A169 to Pickering roundabout, first left off roundabout and first right to cross over the road up on to the Market Place. The White Swan Inn is half way down on the right hand side. Travelling to The White Swan Inn by Car From the North A19 or A1 turn off to take A170 Thirsk which will take you through Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside. Once in Pickering take a left at the traffic lights and first right at the cross roads on to the Market Place.
