About The Oriental - Guest House hotel
The Oriental is one of Brightons original boutique guest houses. It is full of character and just 50 metres from the beach.
The guest house has an excellent central location. The city centre, the Lanes and the Brighton Centre are within 5 minutes walk. The Oriental has individual, modern service and style.
The Regency guest house has been highly commended by the AA and recommended by, amongst others, Lonely Planet, Time Out and both The Guardian and Independent newspapers.
Once home to the notorious Brighton Belle nightclub, the guest house has attracted many well-known guests.

All of the rooms are stylish and modern, with a light, contemporary décor. The beds feature silk headboards and luxurious memory-foam mattresses. All rooms are en suite and feature flat-screen TVs with Freeview digital channels and DVD/CD players. Each room also has desk space and tea/coffee making facilities. Aromatherapy lights and fresh flowers are included and the en suite bathrooms have luxurious toiletries and bathroom products from L'Occitane.

A generous full cooked English breakfast is included in the price. the generous and tasty traditional English breakfast is a great way to start your day, and features fresh, local Sussex. A continental breakfast is also available, with fresh organic fruits and yoghurt included. Vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements can also be catered for, with wheat and dairy-free options available.
Directions
By Car: From London, M25 or Gatwick: - Take the M23/A23 all the way to Brighton, then follow the signs for the A27 'Worthing.' - On entering the A27, take your 1st exit at the top of the hill, signposted Hove. - This will lead you to a roundabout: here take the 2nd exit down Dyke Road, signposted Brighton. - Follow this road for approximately 3 miles (5 km) past 2 sets of traffic lights until you reach the Seven Dials roundabout. - Take the 2nd to last exit into Vernon Terrace, signposted Town Centre Car Parks. - Follow to the seafront, turn left onto the A259 seafront road towards the Brighton Pier. - Take the 1st left by the Kings Hotel into Oriental Place. - The guest house is halfway up on the right. By Rail: From Brighton Train Station: Walk straight out of the station down Queens Road to the seafront. Turn right, keep on going past The Grand and the Metropole hotels. Turn right after the Kings Hotel into Oriental Place.
