Room informationAll rooms are en suite (2 with bath and shower; 4 with shower only). Make a tea or coffee before settling down to a DVD from the Lion Inn's extensive film collection. The rustic furniture is complemented by traditional Welsh woollen throws. There is one family room with a double bed and single bed (cot also available). The Lion Inn serves freshly prepared evening meals from 19:00 to 20:30. Please note that the kitchen can only cater for pre-booked tables, so making a reservation is essential if you wish to dine. The Lion Inn does not open or serve lunches during the day. Wine has been carefully chosen by Master of Wines, Julia Harding. Try the outstanding Kim Crawford Sauvignion Blanc from New Zealand or the Omrah Shiraz. Relax in the traditional bar with a fine Welsh malt whisky or a pint of local real ale. The motto of the restaurant is: 'We don't do fast food; we do great food as fast as we can.' DirectionsBy Car From the A55: - Take the exit to Abergele and head into the town. - Take a left turn onto the A548 heading for Llanrwst. - After about 5 miles (8 km), turn left onto the A544 to Llansannan. - After about 4 miles (6.5 km), just before entering the village of Llansannan, take a right turn onto the B5384, signposted to Gwytherin. - There will be another signposted left turn off this road before you reach the village of Gwytherin. From the A5: - Take the A470 at Betws-y-Coed to Llanrwst. - Follow signs for the A548 to Abergele. - Approximately 3 miles (5 km) out of Llanrwst, take a right turn to Pandy Tudur. - Following this road will lead you into the village of Gwytherin. *Directions included in email booking confirmation
