As you arrive coming up the driveway, you can appreciate a sample of our 3 acres of mature gardens with secluded seating areas for you to relax and unwind. Walking through the doors and sitting down for a complimentary coffee in the lounge, all the stress is guaranteed to just disappear. The hotel has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, but has still retained the character and charm of this beautiful Georgian building.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Please note dogs are not allowed in the deluxe rooms.
All of the 12 rooms at Dale Lodge have been individually designed, decorated and furnished. They all have en suite bathrooms/shower rooms, flat-screen TVs, direct dial telephones, tea/coffee making facilities and Molton Brown toiletries. The deluxe rooms also have a seating area and extra fluffy dressing gowns and slippers.
By Car Take the A591 towards Grasmere. Follow signs for Ambleside (if travelling from the south, you pass through Ambleside). After passing the 30 mph speed limit sign follow sign for Grasmere. Follow the road for 400 yards until it bends sharply to the left and the sharply to the right. The entrance to the Dale Lodge Hotel is immediately on your right. By Rail West Coast main line station is Oxenholme. Shuttle train to Windermere. Take the 555 or 599 bus to Grasmere, or by Taxi.
