Linden Lodge is a modern guest house in a quiet location, less than a mile (1.2 km) from York Rail Station.
The original Victorian building has been carefully updated and mixes original features with modern comforts.

Linden Lodge has only one single room, but it proves to be one of our most popular room available. The room is a smaller version of our double and twin rooms. A full set of fresh, clean and crisp white sheets, hand towels and bath mats are provided to make the stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible.
Rooms have recently been upgraded to provide comfortable and contemporary fixtures, fittings and modern living styles. Fresh milk can be provided for the room on arrival, if required, and morning papers can be ordered on request. Crisp clean and fresh, white sheets, hand towels and bath mats come as standard.
Our family rooms at Linden Lodge are the largest rooms in the hotel. Each consists of one double bed and 2 single beds and will sleep up to 4 people, consisting of 2 adults and 2 children (aged 14 or under). Occupancy by more than 2 adults, will be charged at the normal adult daily rate on arrival at the hotel. Board games are available on request. Each family member is provided with a full set of fresh, clean, white bed sheets, hand towels and a bath mat to help make the stay as relaxing, comfortable and stress free as possible.

This compact room has its own separate, private, shower room and toilet facility in the corridor. It is designed to appeal to those budget travellers who are seeking good, clean, comfortable accommodation. All the usual room facilities are here, including clean crisp white bed linen, towels.
From the South and West: - Take the A64 and the 2nd slip road for York West (A1036), following signs for the city centre. - After passing the Knavesmire racecourse turn right at the 2nd set of traffic lights onto Scarcroft Road. - Linden Lodge is situated on Nunthorpe Avenue which is the 2nd turning on the right. From the North/East: - Approach the city centre along the A59 and continue towards the city. - Turn right immediately after crossing the steel bridge on Holgate onto Dalton Terrace. - Stay in the left-hand lane and turn left at the next set of traffic lights. - Move immediately into the right-hand lane and turn right at the next set of traffic lights onto Scarcroft Road. - Take the 2nd right onto Nunthorpe Avenue where you will find the hotel. From the East: - Follow the York outer ring road (A64) for Leeds until the slip road signed York West, A1036. - Follow signs for the city centre and instructions above for South and West to arrive at Linden Lodge, passing the Knavesmire Racecourse.
