When the weather is fine, an al fresco lunch can be enjoyed in the courtyard at the front of the hotel.

The Lord Nelson Room contains the bed slept in by the famous hero on his grand tour of the UK accompanied by his mistress, Emma Hamilton.
This en suite room has antique furniture and either a four-poster or super-king-size bed. The room overlooks the quaint market square and heritage centre.
The delicious home-cooked menu has a wide selection of dishes: traditional 'pub grub', more than 10 dishes for vegetarians, and 'Castle Flair' dishes made using local produce wherever possible. Some dishes use famous, local Welsh Black Beef

By car:
- Llandovery is located in mid Wales on the main A40 between Brecon and Carmarthen, an hour's drive from the M4 motorway, Cardiff and Swansea.
- The Irish ferry connections are about an hour and 30 minutes away.
By train:
Llandovery Railway Station can be found on the Heart of Wales line, running from Swansea to Shrewsbury, with connections to all major cities.
