The village of Little Easton is situated just off the B184, the Great Dunmow to Saffron Walden road. By Car (from the M11 motorway/Stansted Airport): - Take the A120 and leave at the first exit for Great Dunmow (B1256). You may also like to follow the brown tourist signs for The Gardens of Easton Lodge at this point. - Follow the B1256 through the outskirts of Great Dunmow, until you see signs to the left for Saffron Walden and Thaxted (B184). You will still be following the signs for the Gardens of Easton Lodge. - You will pass the Cricketers Pub on your right and Helena Romanes school on your left. - Drop down the hill and go straight over the roundabout. - As soon as you have gone over the roundabout, you need to immediately turn left onto Duck Street. - Follow Duck Street for one mile (1.6 km), at this point, do not follow the signs for the Gardens. - You will then find yourself in the main part of the village. - Roslyns is approx 200 metres further on, on the right-hand side after the Stag public house. - There is a Victorian lamp with a hanging sign indicating Roslyns' location. Please look out for the lamp which will be on, if you are arriving after dark.
