Situated only a mile from the A14, The Gatehouse Hotel is a Georgian house set in beautiful gardens stretched over 3 acres, just minutes from the centre of Ipswich.
Recently refurbished, all rooms are light and spacious with en suite bathrooms and some have garden views. Rooms offer flat-screen TV with satellite and high speed wi-fi internet access.
Enjoy an excellent meal in the restaurant, which holds an AA rosette, serving local produce in relaxed surroundings with period features. At lunchtime, a bistro menu is offered.
The Gatehouse Hotel provides an ideal base from which to explore the bars, theatres and cinemas that Ipswich has to offer. Guests may wish to stroll along the historic waterfront in the town.
