Less than a mile (under 1.6 km) from central Newcastle, this new establishment offers a range of accommodation supported by convenient facilities and a secure car park.
With single, double, twin and quad rooms on offer, whatever your circumstances you should find a room to suit your needs. En suite or shared bathrooms are complemented by 27-inch plasma-screen TVs with Freeview, as well as hairdryers, ironing equipment and tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel lobby is equipped with a pool table and 2 large plasma-screen TVs.

A great range of fresh fruits and juices, and different type of cereals are served for breakfast each morning. Bread and butter with different types of jams and tea/coffee are also available.
Please note that guests using satellite navigation systems are advised to input Dilston Road as their destination, once they arrive in Newcastle. This is because some satellite navigation systems have problems locating the address when using the post code. The hotel is on the corner of Dilston Road. By Car (from the A1): - Leave the A1 and join the A186 (Westgate Road) towards the city centre. - Continue on for approximately 2 miles (3.2 km). - Grainger Hotel is on the left-hand side. By Train (from Newcastle Central railway station): - Leave the railway station and proceed left along Neville Street for Westmorland Road (A6115). - Turn right onto Blenheim Street and continue onto St. James Boulevard (A189). - Turn left onto Westgate Road and continue for about 0.75 miles (1.2 km) for Grainger Hotel. By Bus: The main bus routes, 10, 11 and 38, leave from Newcastle Central station, the number 39 and 40 buses leave from St. James' Park stadium. Buses go directly to the city centre and the football stadium (with a journey time of around 10 minutes). By Car (from Newcastle Airport): - Leave the airport and join the A696 for Newcastle. - Join the A1 and head south. - Take the 2nd exit and join the A186 (Westgate Road) for the city centre. - Continue on for approximately 2 miles (3.2 km). - Grainger Hotel is on the left-hand side.
