Shendish Manor is situated in Apsley, just outside of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, 25 miles north west of central London. The hotel has excellent communication links, with both the M1 Junction 8 and M25 Juction 20 less than 10 minutes' drive away.
The manor house has recently been refurbished to add 18 distinctively designed bedrooms, and the new wing boasts a further 52 bedrooms, all air conditioned and featuring complimentary internet access.
The 200-seater Orangery Restaurant is now open for business, as is the new Conference and Banqueting Suite that can seat up to 400 people within its own walled gardens.

The Shendish serves mainly European cuisine, although the chef and team create dishes from all round the world for your dining pleasure. All menus include vegetarian options. Served in the stunning new Orangery or the more traditional Dickinson Room, the staff are committed to the highest standards of the culinary art. Breakfasts cater for all tastes, from full English to tea and toast, with most things in between. At lunch time there is traditionally a buffet as well as a selection of set menus, so whether you want just a sandwich or a full three-course meal, there are options to suit every taste. Dinner is normally a more formal affair with a table'd'hote menu, typically featuring a choice of four starters, main courses and desserts, or there is an a la carte menu with an even greater choice of imaginative dishes from around the world. Afternoon tea is also served in a variety of formats, there is a children's menu for the under 14's and a room-service menu, which includes items that are available 24 hours a day.
By Car - The hotel is 25 miles north-west of central London, in Apsley, just outside Hemel Hempstead and accessed off the A4251 between Kings Langley and Hemel. - Both the M1 and M25 motorways are less than a 10 minute drive away. By Air Heathrow Airport can be reached in a comfortable 30 minutes, and Luton Airport is only 15 minutes away. By Train The nearest train station is Apsley (5 minutes' drive away), which connects to London Euston in 25 minutes.
