Between the Roman city of Bath and Longleat Safari Park, this quirky privately owned house sits within stunning grounds in the beautiful Somerset countryside.
With unique and interesting decor, The House at Woolverton features wood furniture from the Far East that matches the style of the building. The 15 double bedrooms are equally quirky, so expect pegs instead of wardrobes.
Head chef Paul Kinsey serves up modern British cuisine, along with some old classics, in the conservatory bistro.
From The House you can explore Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Stonehenge, Wells or Glastonbury. A bus stops outside the house and goes to Bath and Frome.

A very spacious room on the first floor of the main house, it enjoys dual aspect views and a large en suite. Ideal choice for that special weekend away.
Set on the first floor of the main house, these rooms enjoy far reaching views and spacious en suites.
These rooms are in the wing adjoining the main house. They all have open views and the en suites are larger than the Traveller Rooms. The 2 downstairs rooms can accommodate children (please see Hotel Policies for details on additional costs). If you require one of these rooms please request it on booking (subject to availability).
Although smaller than the other rooms, with much smaller en suites, these all have countryside views. 4 of the rooms have a bath with a shower over and 2 have showers only. These rooms are on the second floor of the main house.
A continental buffet breakfast is included in the room rate, although cooked is also available at extra charge. Tea and coffee stations are situated on each floor.
Please note that for May, June and July 2008 substantial roadworks are being carried out on the A36 so the road is closed at Limply Stoke. During this period, access to the hotel from the north would be via Midford and Norton St Philip. This makes no difference to the time of journey as this is usually an alternative route anyway.
