This family-run establishment is approximately one mile from the centre of the city, providing an ideal base from which to see the many attractions Cambridge has to offer.
Situated on a bus route, Iceni House is also a 20-minute walk from the Market Square. The house has always been non-smoking and enjoys a 4-star grading.
The rooms are all en suite except for two which share facilities with one another. All are individually decorated to a high standard, with cleanliness being a priority. Each room has all the comforts you would expect.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

After this time, there is a 24-hour self-check-in facility (you must contact Iceni House before arrival if you want to use this). Iceni House will add an additional cost to payments made by credit card.

Our twin rooms have en-suite shower, toilet and sink as well as all common facilities. They are located on either the ground or first floor.
Named 'Blossom', this room is located on the first floor, it has an en-suite with shower, toilet and sink in addition to the standard room comforts. It also benefits from a writing table and chair to allow for that important work/study time
This room is called 'Autumn'. Located on the ground floor and equipped with a single bed, digital TV, a writing table with chair, wardrobe and all common facilities. It shares a modern shower, toilet and sink with one other room.
This room is aptly named 'The Haven'. Located on the ground floor, it has no rooms above or next door. The Haven has a bathroom with shower cubicle, large sink, toilet and bath with television set in the wall for a truly relaxing experience. The bedroom is decorated in dark, mood-setting red with feature wall paper. Fitted wardrobes with dressing table, 21" TV with digital channels and DVD player, a fan above the bed and a 3-seat sofa also feature. French doors open from the room out into its own private courtyard area with seating.
This room is known as 'Summer'. Located on the ground floor it shares a modern shower room, toilet and sink with one other room. Summer has a fresh and airy feel and has a door into a very small outdoor area with a table and two chairs as well as the usual comforts offered.
Breakfast is taken in the bright and airy dining room. A choice of cooked full English breakfast is given alongside a large range of continental produce. A small garden area opens up from the dining area where you may wish to take your breakfast during the warmer months. As well as the dining room, you are invited to request breakfast in your room, a continental option is placed in a fridge to be taken at leisure in the morning.
Iceni House is located in Coleridge Road, situated on the favoured south side of the city. It is easy to find, being located just off the city's ring road. By Rail: Iceni House is a 10-minute walk or short taxi ride away from the railway station. Trains run to and from Cambridge regularly, from major airports and cities, including London. By Car: All directions exclude pedestrian and pelican crossings. From A14 (Huntingdon)/M11: - Take the M11 and exit at junction 11, following the signs into Cambridge. - Turn right at the 5th set of traffic lights into Long Road. - At the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Hills Road. - At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Cherry Hinton Road. - At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn left into Coleridge Road. - Iceni House is approximately 360 metres (400 yards) down on the right-hand side. From the A14 (Newmarket): - Take the A1303 into Cambridge, until you come to a roundabout. - Go straight over the roundabout into Newmarket Road. - At the next roundabout, turn left into Barnwell Road. - At the next roundabout, go straight over into Brooks Road (passing Sainsburys on the left). - Go straight through the traffic lights and continue to the next roundabout. - Take a right into Radegund Road. - At the junction, turn left into Coleridge Road. - Iceni House is approximately 360 metres (400 yards) down the left-hand side. Parking: Iceni House has a car park which holds 3 or 4 vehicles. When the car park is full, there is ample parking on the road outside of the property, with no restrictions in place.
