Overlooking the picturesque harbour in Irvine's harbour-side district, the Marina Inn offers good-value accommodation close to Irvine's sandy beach and railway station.
Next to the Magnum Leisure Centre, the Marina Inn is also just 700 metres from the town's indoor shopping centre. Prestwick Airport is 8 miles (13 km) away.
Comfortable rooms are offered with en suite or private bathroom facilities. Some rooms have a beautiful harbour view. Refurbishment work has now been completed on 5 new rooms on the ground floor. All rooms are spacious, with en suite bathroom facilities and a 32-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TV with Freeview digital channels and a DVD player. Guests also have access to a free DVD library. The rooms have ironing facilities, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities. Work has now started on the upstairs rooms and this work should be completed by July 2009.
