Restaurants and Bars
At the brasserie diners can enjoy international dishes in opulent surroundings. The home-cooked dishes are made with fresh local produce and served with friendly and attentive service. At lunch there are 2 menus; one for a quick lunch and the other for à la carte dining. Following its makeover, the restaurant has large windows, crystal chandeliers and red velvet and white ostrich-leather seating. The stylish wine bar has high-beamed ceilings and modern features including an ostrich-leather-panelled bar and a very large flat-screen TV. There is a snack menu, free Wi-Fi and plenty of space. The bar is ideal for holding a small business gathering.
Directions
Steventon House Hotel is conveniently located just off the A34, between Oxford and Newbury on the A4130. By Car (from the A34): - Leave the A34 at the Milton interchange and take the A4130 towards Steventon, Harwell and Wantage. - At the traffic lights, do not turn right into Steventon, but insteadcarry straight on towards Harwell and Wantage. - Continue straight on for about 300 metres and you will see the hotel on the left-hand side. By Air: The hotel is approximately 40 miles (60 km) from London Heathrow Airport. From the airport you can take the Tube to London Paddington and then get a train to Didcot Parkway train station or there is a coach that runs every 15 minutes from the airport to Oxford. From Oxford, you can take a taxi or take the train. By Train: The nearest train station is Didcot Parkway, which is approximately 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. There is regular service to Didcot Parkway from London Paddington station. The train usually takes about 40 minutes. There is a taxi rank right outside the station.
