Fully refurbished and modernised in 2008, we are a welcoming seafront hotel offering cosy en suite rooms and a fantastic central promenade location opposite the beach.
Within minutes of Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach, our hotel is adjacent to all amenities. All rooms are en suite and many have unobstructed sea views, which are allocated on a 'first come first served' basis. For your relaxation, the Sandford features a large games room and bar/sun-lounge with pool table and slot machines. Free limited parking is also available, which again is allocated on a 'first come first served' basis, alternative pay & display parking directly opposite the hotel
The ground floor bar serves food and drinks until late. There is a dining room to the rear of the hotel seating 34 people, and bar meals are served until 22:00. Our reception is open from 09:00 until 22:00, allowing you to check-in at your leisure.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. One child under 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Please note: as a family-orientated hotel, the Sandford regrets that it cannot accept stag or hen parties or any large groups of single-sex guests. Any damage, either intentional or unintentional, unless reported to the hotel management immediately, will be charged in full to the card used to make the booking. Unfortunately, single rooms are restricted to midweek reservations only, due to that all singles are actually small double rooms and are let in advance as double rooms at weekends.
We have 21 bedrooms in total, with a selection of double (some with a sea view), twin, single and family rooms (sleeping either 3 or 4 people containing either double, single or bunk beds). The whole hotel has been redecorated this year, making Sandford Promenade a clean, modern guest accommodation
Some of these modern, compact en suite double rooms have views of the sea - sea-view rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

Breakfast is comprised of a full, cooked English-style breakfast, with toast, tea/coffee, and a selection of jams, fruit juices and cereals. Vegetarian options are available at no extra cost (please inform the waiting on staff prior to being served). Bar Meals are available all day until 22:00, and act as a substitute for an evening meal. There is a selection of hot meals available, served either in the dining room or in the bar. Also, there is a selection of lighter bites and sandwiches. Please inform staff of any allergies you might have, as some of our foods may contain nuts etc.
By Air The airport is approximately one mile away. By Public Transport The central bus station and train station are approximately 1.3 miles away, and only a short trip in a taxi, or a 10 minute walk.
