The privately owned Carpenters Arms is a brand new hotel with a reputation as a high-standard gastro pub, producing great food and serving customers in a warm, friendly manner.
The en suite rooms are all new and designed to appeal to the professional traveller. They all have LCD screens and Aqualisa Quartz power showers and are furnished to a high standard. The team of chefs will prepare your breakfast to give you a great start to the day.
There is a fantastic terrace at the front and rear of the building and a lovely beer garden to the side. Located just outside Tonbridge town, the hotel is surrounded by fields.

All rooms have LCD screens and power showers that can be turned on without getting into the shower. The design of the rooms is semi-contemporary, but fitted with some classic furniture. Certain rooms have double-ended baths. The bathrooms are different in all the rooms, and make you feel like you are in a boutique hotel.
All rooms are either double with a king-size bed or a twin room. This means they have plenty of room for the single traveller. Rooms feature a high powered shower and LCD screens, and are designed to a high specification.
All standard doubles have a king-size bed, an LCD screen, a high-power shower, hand-made curtains and cushions and lovely, crisp, white linen.
All superior rooms have a bath as well as a power shower, a king-size bed with lovely fresh white linen and LCD screens. The rooms are larger than standard rooms and feature handmade curtains and cushions, designed to make you feel special.
This is the top room with a superb double-ended bath in the room on a raised slate deck. The room has exposed beams and an LCD screen that you can watch while you have a soak. There is also a power shower. The linen is of high quality and cushions are all handmade
By Train Tonbridge has a mainline train station with a direct route into the centre of London. It only takes 40 minutes. By Car From the M25: - Take the Sevenoaks A21 turn-off, and head into North Tonbridge. - Follow signs for the A26 Maidstone road and you will see the pub sign one and a half miles outside Tonbridge, on the right-hand side by the BP petrol station. From the airports: Gatwick is about 35 minutes away and Heathrow is about 50 minutes away.
