Choose from the traditional and informal pub menu or from the restaurant's à la carte menu, renowned for its impressive traditional dishes, made using fresh, local produce by a team of highly skilled chefs. The menus change regularly to reflect the finest, freshest ingredients available locally, including beef from Great Missenden, Pork from Thame and free-range eggs. The service is first class and the food is fresh and appealing with the restaurant's charm characterised by the old chimney breast, the Windsor chairs, the alcoves, window seats and soft furnishings. The restaurant is open between 10:00 and 22:00, 7 days a week. There is a wide range of local and international beers and wines to accompany your choice of food, with draught beers including Rebellion Beer from nearby Marlow. Lunchtimes or evening meals are the ideal time to sample something from the wine cellar or enjoy a traditional English pint. Furnished and decorated in a traditional, country style, the bar is relaxing and comfortable in both summer and winter, with a real traditional old English atmosphere. By Car: The hotel is just 2 minutes from junction 5 of the M40 motorway. - Leave the M40 at junction 5, following the signs for Ibstone. - The hotel is on the left-hand side, past the tree-lined country lane. By Train: The hotel is a 10-minute taxi ride from High Wycombe Railway Station. Trains run regularly between High Wycombe and London Marylebone Station.
